Bob Hurley is the man and the name behind the brand, He started out in 1979 as a small surfboard factory-retail outlet in Huntington Beach.

Bob then went on to develop Billabong in the ‘80s and ‘90s before returning to Hurley in 1998, since then the brand has gone from strength to strength and now is one of the largest Wear surf brands on the planet, making some of the best boardshorts on the market.
