Surfboard Wax

In our range of surf wax for our UK cold waters, we sell Sex wax surfboard wax and Sticky Johnsons base coat wax.

Whats surf wax used for ?

surfboard wax is used on the top of a surfboard to make a sticky layer for your feet or boots to grip to.

How do i apply surfboard wax ?

Applying wax to your surfboard should always start with a base coat; this is harder for the top coat to adhere to. The top coat of surf wax should match your local water temperature (not air temp).
In the UK, we mainly will use cold water waxes, covering water temperatures between 9-20 degrees, and cool water wax for temperatures between 14-23 degrees.

How to remove surfboard wax

The best way to remove wax from your surfboard is with a wax scraper, and to get your board really clean and remove all wax residue you can use a Pickle wax remover.
