Issam Auptel, a 23-year-old from Guadeloupe, now resides in the southwest of France. He began his surfing journey in Guadeloupe, where competitions were the only way to gain visibility.
After achieving strong results in national contests and gaining exposure through social media and Instagram clips, Volcom took the young talent under their wing.
With a deep passion for art—especially the fusion of surf footage and music—Issam has evolved into a dedicated, expressive, and proud freesurfer.
