Duotone UNI.XT is now also built using SLS carbon technology to create the most lightweight extension in the world.
When it comes to standard extensions, everyone has probably experienced some nasty surprises at some point — ropes that don't align with the sail, high downhaul forces, and fiddly height adjustment. Before designing the UNI.XT, Duotone analysed all of these issues and came up with workable solutions.
The strong and super-solid UNI.XT may look like other standard extensions at first glance, yet it is packed with innovations that make it a far superior product, delivering easier rigging and a more dependable setup on the beach and on the water.
The latest version comes with a completely new adjustment ring. Based on the tried-and-tested SDM adjustment ring, the RDM version now ensures the aluminium tube no longer comes into contact with the mast — avoiding contact corrosion. No other RDM extension offers that.
To guarantee durability despite the reduced diameter, a double-walled construction of 7075 aluminium outer tube and ovalised T8 inner tube is used (patent pending).
