Board-Worx is a wetsuit and watersports shop on Beach Walk in Whitstable, Kent (CT5 2BP). We've been fitting wetsuits here since 1982, when we opened as Whitstable Windsurfing. We stock C-Skins, O'Neill and Rip Curl wetsuits for men, women and children — summer shorties through to winter steamers — plus boots, gloves and hoods. You can try before you buy in the shop, and there's free parking.

Why buy a wetsuit in person
Buying a wetsuit online is a gamble. Sizing runs differently between brands, and a suit that's a size out will flush cold water every time you go in.
In the shop you can:
- Try C-Skins, O'Neill and Rip Curl back to back and feel the difference
- Get fitted by people who wear these suits themselves
- Compare neoprene thicknesses before you commit
- Sort the kids out at the same time — we stock children's sizes
- Walk out with it the same day
Wetsuit brands we stock
C-Skins · O'Neill · Rip Curl
Three brands, deliberately. We'd rather stock depth of sizes in suits we know inside out than carry a shallow range of everything.

Men's, women's and children's suits across summer shorties, spring suits and winter steamers, plus boots, gloves and hoods.
You'll also spot the odd end-of-line suit from another brand on the rail — leftovers from previous seasons that we're clearing. Usually a bargain if one happens to fit you, but we can't order more in your size.
Women's and children's wetsuits

We carry women's and kids' suits in proper depth rather than a token size or two — which matters, because a child's suit that's too big is worse than no suit at all.
What thickness do I need in Kent?
Sea temperatures around the North Kent coast swing a long way between summer and winter, and the right thickness depends on when you're going in, what you're doing and how long you're out for.
We have a wetsuit temperature guide that sets out what works when, and a wetsuit size guide if you want to check sizing before you visit. If you're still not sure, ring us or come in and ask.
Worth a read too: how wetsuits actually work and how to look after yours so it lasts more than a season.

Yes — we carry kids' sizes alongside the men's and women's ranges.
Which wetsuit brands do you sell?
C-Skins, O'Neill and Rip Curl.
