The Duotone Trust Bar Quad Control 2027 is a four-line kite bar for riders who prefer familiar rope-and-cleat depower, with adjustable width, 22+2m lines and the Iron Heart VI Click-In safety system.
- Direct, familiar trimming: the DPL24 depower line works with a Vario Cleat and adjustment clip - this is not the Click Bar's push-button trim system.
- Easy safety reassembly: the Iron Heart VI Click-In system lets the chicken loop click back into place after activation.
- Precise steering: 1.3mm FLITE99 2.0 back lines and 1.5mm FLITE99 2.0+ front lines are designed to minimise stretch and provide direct feedback.

- Simple four-line configuration: the 2027 Trust Bar is available only as a four-line bar; Duotone does not list a fifth-line upgrade kit for it.
Duotone Trust Bar 2027 vs 2026: what has actually changed?
The 2027 Trust Bar is an evolution of the 2026 model rather than a complete redesign. Duotone's 2027 product information identifies three changes:
- Black DPL24 depower line - the proven DPL24 rope-and-cleat depower system carries over, but the depower line is now black.
- New C78 colourway - purple and bright orange replace the 2026 C54 turquoise/red colour scheme.
- Additional front-line pigtails - supplied to provide more trim adjustment at the kite connection.

Is the 2027 Trust Bar worth paying more for?
Choose the 2027 model if you want the latest purple/bright-orange colourway and the additional front-line pigtails for more trim choice. If those changes are not important to you, a discounted 2026 Trust Bar remains strong value because the principal safety system, flying lines, bar widths and DPL24/Vario Cleat depower arrangement are substantially unchanged. We would rather make that distinction clear than pretend the 2027 is a completely different bar.

Trust Bar 2027 FAQ
Is the 2027 Trust Bar a complete redesign?
No. Its core safety, line, width-adjustment and depower systems carry over from the 2026 model. The documented updates are the colourway, black DPL24 line and additional front-line pigtails.
Does the Trust Bar have push-button depower?
No. The Trust Bar uses a DPL24 depower line with a Vario Cleat. “Click-In” describes the Iron Heart VI safety/chicken-loop reconnection system, not the trimming method. Riders wanting Duotone's push-button trim system should look at the Click Bar.
Which size should I choose?
The S/M bar adjusts between 42 and 49cm, while the M/L adjusts between 46 and 53cm. Both versions stocked by Board-Worx have 22m lines plus 2m extensions. Check the recommended bar width and line length for your particular kite.
Can it be converted to five lines?
No. Duotone lists the 2027 Trust Bar only as a four-line option, without a fifth-line upgrade kit.
