The Duotone Unit 2027 is Duotone's do-it-all wing — a shorter strut, refined profile and a higher percentage of MOD3s canopy give it a compact, direct, versatile feel from freeride cruising to waves and freestyle.
Overview
A shorter strut design creates a more compact wing with reduced swing weight, enhancing manoeuvrability and delivering a lighter, more direct feel in your hands.
This refined geometry also improves control through gusts and lulls, for smoother, more predictable power delivery. Further refinements to the profile distribution — with reduced depth in the centre and increased profile towards the quarter span — mean more efficient power generation and improved stability while flagging. Combined with fine-tuned canopy tension and optimised tip twist, the Unit delivers cleaner aerodynamics, better draft stability and a more direct response.
The updated window layout offers improved visibility, helping you stay aware of your surroundings without compromising canopy performance. Equipped with the versatile Fusion boom and handle option, riders can choose their preferred setup.
The MOD3s canopy, now used in a higher percentage, enhances durability and maintains consistent performance over time. A stiff, wide leading-edge handle ensures effortless control while surfing, and moulded mini batten pockets contribute to canopy stability and longevity.
