The Evo is one of the most successful kites Duotone have ever made, and the SLS is the lighter, stiffer version of it. Duotone call it a High Performance Allrounder, and that is a fair description — it is the kite you buy when you want one kite that will do freeride, big air, freestyle and wave sessions rather than a specialist that only does one of them well. This is the current 2027 model, flown twice, so you are getting a nearly new kite without the new price.
Condition
- Flown twice — hardly used. Lovely and crisp, with no marks. Left inflated for 4 hours; all good.
- No holes, tears or repairs.
- Canopy, leading edge and struts all sound.
- The photographs are of the actual kite you will receive.
What makes the SLS different
- Strong Light Superior construction — more structural stiffness with less weight, so the airframe reacts faster and the steering feels more direct than the standard Evo.
- Flex Strut removed, struts thinner and stiffer — less deformation under load, which keeps the turning fast and the loops clean when you are properly powered.
- Progressive bar pressure — predictable feedback even fully powered or in gusty, shifting wind, which is what makes a performance kite usable rather than exhausting.

Depends on your weight, your board and your local wind. A 10m is a popular all-round size for an average-weight rider in UK conditions, but ring us and we will talk it through rather than have you guess.
